Where is the training held?
Usually at either your business premises or in our training suite. We can arrange alternative venues at cost if required.
What are the course times?
Full day courses start at 9:30 am and finish at 4:30 pm with lunch and refreshment breaks included. Half day courses run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Times can be varied by agreement if necessary.
How many people can we accommodate on a course?
To ensure that delegates get the maximum benefit from the training, we recommend no more than 8 delegates per course.
Are courses instructor led?
Yes - all our courses are instructor led, and are delivered at a pace to suit the students.
Are there any pre-requisites for courses?
For beginner courses we would assume that you know the basics of using a computer. If you have been able to access this website yourself then you have passed the minimum criteria! For more advanced courses, we would assume that you are familiar with most of the material in the beginner courses, although extensive knowledge is not essential. Our instructors are experienced in adapting the course to suit the skill level of the group.
Will I get my own workstation?
Yes - we believe that the best way to learn is by actually doing the work yourself. You will have your own workstation to carry out the exercises and tasks in the course.
Is there any support once the course is completed?
Your tutor will provide you with contact details at the end of the course and will happily provide ongoing support in the use of your software for up to 90 days after the course has completed. If you feel that you need additional training to go over specific areas of the software we will be happy to talk to you about that.
Do you offer other training for other Cisco courses?
Yes. The main CCNA training package is the most popular package for students wanting to gain Cisco certification, but we also offer training for the more specialised courses including:
We also offer training in the entry level certification (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician), although this course is more of a stepping stone to the main CCNA certicfication (640-802) and for students who are serious about gaining Cisco certification, we would recommend going direct to the 640-802.
